We were delighted to launch the Amigo School Nutrition Program on 27th June, 2019 at Diocesan School for Girls, Epsom.
Guests included supporters, nutritionists, foodies, school children and parents. Guests had the opportunity to taste Amigo Bars and learned about its nutritional benefits from Sir Ray. Heather McRae, Principal of Diocesan School for Girls talked about the importance of good nutrition for positive learning and for supporting children’s busy lives.
Amigo Ambassadors, Toni Street, Vanessa Sorenson and Kathryn Wilson each had a personal message regarding the importance of good nutrition to grow healthy bodies and healthy minds.
Our supporters from Perpetual Guardian, Andrew Barnes and Charlotte Lockhart were unable to attend the launch as they were promoting the Amigo Bar half-way around the world as part of the epic, “Peking to Paris Car Rally”, where they’ve given Amigo Bars to children in countries including, China, Mongolia, Russia, Uzbekistan and Poland. In a video message, Andrew Barnes said; “…the Amigo Bar helps provide good nutrition to young people to help them grow, develop and learn, and that is possibly, the best gift we can give any child, anywhere in the world”.
We thank Duncan Cotterill for sponsoring the launch of the Amigo Bar. Bex McNaughton, Senior Marketing Advisor, Duncan Cotterill said;
This unique nutritional bar will be beneficial to so many New Zealand school children, and we were thrilled to show our support.
